My first book is called:
‘How to Break Your Fitness Slump and Comfortably Finish a Fun Run’
This year I’ll be doing my 43rd City2Surf and over the years I’ve tried many different training programs in the lead up to the City2Surf.
Over the last 42 years I’ve perfected my City2Surf training program and this year I’ve written it up in a format that anyone can follow.
To make it even easier, I’ve included a link in the back of the book where you can download and import the training program as an iCal file. This means you can have the training program on your phone or iPad calendar too, so that on each day that I’ve set an activity, it will appear in your calendar automatically.
Furthermore, I’ve set the calendar file up so that it will repeat for the Sydney City2Surf and the Melbourne City2Sea every year, making the book worthwhile year in – year out.
This book provides some fundamental tips to help you stay focused and improve your fitness and speed to get you in shape to comfortably complete a fun run like the City2Surf.
My training plan is broken into five stages over 11 weeks with week by week changes to help you with your run preparation.
For more details read this page on my City2Surf Training Guide
And, if you’d like to join me in training, I’ve set up a Facebook Group called the City2Surf 100 Day Challenge
20% of proceeds from the book will go to the Steve Waugh Foundation and you can also sponsor me at my Everyday Hero page
