Yes, they were true pioneers in many ways. They showed the world what Australia was like and they showed Australians their own country.
In the early days, before they were on TV, they would tour small country towns and hire the local theatre to show their documentaries. How times have changed.

I just loved the Leyland Brothers and their journeys. They were true pioneers and did not get the acknowledgement they deserved. Truely brave men. Very proud of you.
