It’s a dog’s life
Yesterday I spent the day on the couch and after a few hours the laptop battery went flat but I couldn’t maneuver myself around to plug the cord in, so after a number of attempts, I gave up and just slept on the couch for most of the day. The dogs were sleeping outside and occasionally looking at me with sad eyes. I was thinking that I now know what it feels like to be a dog, spending the day sleeping and waiting for the master to come home and give you food and a nice pat.

On Sunday I was trying to water-ski and I lost control of the right leg – in a moment’s lack of concentration, while I tried to pull my right leg back into alignment, I neglected my left leg which under pressure of the water flung up over my head, tearing a hamstring and buttock muscles at the hip. Friends pulled me into the boat and I was carried to shore where my body started to go into involuntary shock, ambulance was called and I ended up drugged up in hospital for most of Sunday. What an awesome little car, goes like a dream. I picked the VW EOS up from the dealership with 5km on the clock last Thursday and by Sunday had done 1,000km. On Friday, the sun was shining and we decided to head off to the coast for the weekend. The NSW South Coast is great this time of year. We stayed at a lovely little b&b and lucked in on a great seafood night at a café in Ulladulla.
